Gobble Gobble!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Today had to be the best day ever! I was surrounded by so much family, love and an insane amount of food! I couldn't ask for a better day! There is so much I am thankful for and one being family, I was so happy to get to spend the day with my amazing family! I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving as well :)

I started the day by saying "good-bye" to fiance. He was leaving to Arizona to spend Thanksgiving with his parents while I stayed behind to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I was super sad to see him go because it was the first Thanksgiving in the 6 years we have been together, that we would not be spending together BUT it is our last Thanksgiving being engaged, next year we will be Married :) So excited! But, I had to say good bye....luckily he will be home tomorrow night :)

Once fiance left, I started my day with a 10 mile Thanksgiving run. I figured today would be the perfect day to do my long run from my training so I wouldn't have to worry about it this weekend. I decided today's long run, would have no pace time and I would just run to run. I miss running for fun, I miss enjoying my runs, so I decided to enjoy today's run!
The only bad thing about today's run was, the insane amount of wind I was running in and against (running in wind sucks!!!) and the cold temperatures. The one good thing about the wind was the clear blue sky :)

After my run, I came home to a little guy who wanted to go for a walk, so we headed off on a walk!

  Such a gorgeous day!!!!

Then it was home to feast and enjoy time with family!!!!  I absolutely LOVE being with family. I love all holidays and all get togethers. I just love the idea of family coming together, it makes my heart smile!!

My awesome little brother and I

Deep Fried Turkey!!! The best and only way to make Turkey! My dad's is the BEST!

Ready to EAT!!!!!

Ham
Green Beans ( I think I was the only one who ate them! Thanks MOM!!)
Rolls
Corn Bread Stuffing....my favorite dish! I may or may not have had 3 or more servings! Don't judge!
Yummy Yummy Yams
Cranberry Sauce
Dessert
Mama's Famous Peach Cobbler (seriously a BIG hit every year, it's gone in 2.5 seconds!!!)
Even Bruin enjoyed Turkey ;)

The rest of the day was spent laughing and stuffing our faces! It was a wonderful day! I indulgent and felt no guilt, it's not every day you get deep friend turkey ;) It truly was a blessed day!!!!! I absolutely love my family and love that I get to spend time with them!!!!

Now, time to cuddle with this little guy!!
