Last Day of November......

Good Morning Friends!!

Can you believe today is the last day of November?!?!?!?! I surely cannot believe it! I swear the month just started now it's ending. Feels like the days are just passing me by. I truly cannot believe tomorrow will be December (and the start of my yoga challenge). December should be exciting! :)

This morning, I woke up to a puppy cuddled in my bed, (I truly blame Fiance on this one) Once fiance is out of bed, puppy decides to take his spot and take up the whole bed. Now, this puppy is no 8lb toy terrier he is an 80lb boxer, who thinks he is an 8lb toy terrier! Once fiance left to work, we decided to get up and start our day. I have been feeling pretty down lately about my foot and the fact that I have plantar fasciitis!! Seriously not an injury a runner wants to have. But, I decided to be positive, I really wanted to run this morning, but knew I had to take a break and cut now the running because my foot will only get worse and I have plans to run the rest of my life. It's just hard not running, I'm a addict when it comes to running, I salivate when I see others running and I can't. My heart beats faster when I put my running shoes on,  I feel like I can take on the world, when I set my foot on the pavement, I am a runner!!  Running is my life. So this has been rough for me. But, I am trying to make the best of it!

I started this morning with some Core Synergistics and worked up a sweat with good ol' Tony Horton!
Then it was time for a walk with Bruin :)

First up...coffee

All ready for our walk

Love the view on our walk! God's creations are so gorgeous!
My favorite part of our walk, I love all the trees!

After our walk, I needed food! I decided on a bowl of Apple Cinnamon Oats

In the mix:

 -1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup Almond Milk
-1/2 cup water
-1 tsp Vanilla Extract
-1/2 banana sliced
-Cinnamon and Brown Sugar

Toppings
-Blackberries
-Almonds
-Granola
-1 tsp of Natural Peanut Butter

Directions:
Cook oats as directed, and mix in vanilla extract, almond milk, brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. While oats and mixture are cooking, chop apple into pieces, place in microwave safe bowl and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top. Nuke apples in microwave for 30 seconds until warm. Pour oats into a bowl and top with; warmed cinnamon apple, trader joes pumpkin granola and almonds! Enjoy! :)

Okay now off to get ready for the day! I have a huge presentation my group is presenting to the hospital today for our senior project! Wish us luck :) I also just found out the test I thought was this Thursday is now tomorrow.....eeek, now i'm super stressed!! I will be super busy tonight studying!!!!!

  1. The Oatmeal sound amazing!!!! mmm! I feel your pain on not being able to be as active as you want to be:( I tore my ACL and was out of commission for a good 5-6 months. It was the longest ever! But God healed me, and I can be even more thankful for the days that I can be active and run! Don't stress too much about your test! ;) AND good luck on your presentation!
